Experimenting with tempeh today and this dish paid off well! It only took me 15/20 minutes to make too πŸ’š

Do you like tempeh?

The sauce is:

πŸƒ 5 tbsp soy sauce
πŸƒ 2 tbsp maple syrup
πŸƒ 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
πŸƒ 1 tsp or 1 clove of crushed garlic
πŸƒ 2 tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp of water

β€’I steamed my tempeh for 5 minutes before slicing
β€’For the sauce simply pop all the ingredients in a pan and simmer to a nice thick sauce
β€’Marinade the tempeh in the sauce for a few minutes and fry in a hot pan with some oil (and a little sauce) for 10 minutes.
β€’Leave the remaining sauce for topping over the dish.
β€’I served mine with microwave wholegrain rice then fried with mixed veg (pak choi, peas, sweetcorn and mushrooms)
