~ Teriyaki Tempeh ~
Experimenting with tempeh today and this dish paid off well! It only took me 15/20 minutes to make too 💚
Do you like tempeh?
The sauce is:
🍃 5 tbsp soy sauce
🍃 2 tbsp maple syrup
🍃 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
🍃 1 tsp or 1 clove of crushed garlic
🍃 2 tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp of water
•I steamed my tempeh for 5 minutes before slicing
•For the sauce simply pop all the ingredients in a pan and simmer to a nice thick sauce
•Marinade the tempeh in the sauce for a few minutes and fry in a hot pan with some oil (and a little sauce) for 10 minutes.
•Leave the remaining sauce for topping over the dish.
•I served mine with microwave wholegrain rice then fried with mixed veg (pak choi, peas, sweetcorn and mushrooms)
